During my time at Google, I designed a team dinner with 35 Toasts.* That’s when it clicked that I love creating spaces and experiences that foster real connection.
At Clearbit, we succeeded and failed at bringing the executive team (and the broader company) together. The lessons I learned have shaped how I approach team- and company-building.
As a COO, my top priority is always to build a strong team and nurture the individuals within it. If a team doesn’t gel, it’s tough to make anything else work. Company-building is a journey. There’s a lot of value in discussing all aspects of it and whether you are serial entrepreneur, a seasoned operator, or just starting out, I am certain we can learn a lot from each other.
